A visit to the Fairville London Lab, Sep. 2024

Meetings in differents boroughs and activities of Fairville London Lab. We explored the Clapton Commons project which is part of the Equal Care Coop network, member of the Just Space network. The 2d day was dedicated to the street markets and mobilizations aimed at safeguarding them, in historical low-income neighborhoods, facing urban development projects and gentrification processes, then we had a meeting at Tower Hamlets Borough Council with an elected member and officials of the local municipality, about their commitment to the preservation of street markets, protection and regularisation of traders, with the largest number of legally regulated street markets. Beyond these moments of visit and exchanges, we had workshops and joint work sessions around the co-evaluation of co-production dynamics in our Fairville labs and around the project of writing a small "counter-manual of co-production" in words and acts…
