The Rathausblock is a city block under urban renewal in Berlin-Kreuzberg. A group of urban activists and local civil society started fighting ten years ago against privatisation, in favour of a community-oriented use and development of this five-hectare site. In this context, the Berlin Fairville Lab's coordination team neither promotes nor initiates the co-production process, but rather accompanies it and observes its development.
